This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. A bronze shaft sleeve protects the shaft through an engineered dry shaft design that prevents contact with circulating fluid. Internal sealing consists of a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal configuration rated for a maximum pressure of 125 PSI without a wear ring. This centrifugal pump architecture allows for servicing internal components without disturbing existing system piping connections.
The 75 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and accepts a 380-460V / 3PH power supply. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
