This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. A bronze shaft sleeve protects the pump shaft, and the mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. This model utilizes a dry shaft design with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with an across the line starting option for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor utilizes a 213 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI value of 0.86. The motor operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature with CCW rotation.
