This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F in clean water applications. This unit is built without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 215 NEMA T frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, an OSHA, and a Woods coupling. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings suitable for 40°C ambient environments. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards MG1-12.55, incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding, and maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94.
