This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a dry shaft design that utilizes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes flush seal line taps and integrated pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 256T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3, meeting premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This assembly is rated at a DOE PEI of 0.9 and supports across the line starting.
