This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and bronze wear rings. The unit incorporates an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump also includes flush seal line taps for filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and features across-the-line starting. The motor uses a JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets NEMA standards, operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature, and has a PEI rating of 0.91. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
