This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing and cover, a 7-1/4" nominal stainless steel (NSF61) impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is driven by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM. It is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature. The motor features a JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly utilizes an across-the-line starting option and complies with NEMA standards. The pump has a PEI rating of 0.9.
