This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design for servicing and a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are provided to allow for the installation of a filter to protect the seal components.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 60 HP Baldor motor. The motor features an ODP enclosure, a drip cover, and a JM-style frame with feet. It is configured for a 230-460V 3PH 60Hz power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated with a PEI of 0.93 and is designed for a 40°C ambient temperature environment.
