This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 3" suction, and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit also features AEGIS shaft grounding.
The pump is driven by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor, NEMA 182T frame, operating at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. It is configured with an across the line starting option and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler. This unit meets NEMA standards and carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.94, with motor performance adhering to MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
