This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections and ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft, along with flush seal line taps for the installation of an optional filter. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing incorporates a bronze wear ring, and the pump configuration supports a rear pullout design for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This unit is configured with a 20 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 256 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features a CCW rotation. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.92. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections as a standard feature.
