This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a rear pullout design and a dry shaft construction with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from system fluids. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250°F. Flush seal line taps are integrated into the casing to allow for filter installation.
The pump is driven by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a JM frame style with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA standards and includes premium efficiency ratings along with AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit utilizes across the line starting, CCW rotation, and operates in a 40°C ambient temperature environment.
