This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 213T frame. This unit utilizes a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a Woods coupler, a standard coupler guard, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and the pump has a PEI of 0.89.
