This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve with a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA 326T frame, configured for 230-460/60/3 PH power. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. It is mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods flexible coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. This model meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
