This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor TEFC motor on a NEMA 286T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with an across the line starting option and a Woods coupler. The unit is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor is a premium efficiency unit meeting MG1-12.55 standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. This assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.97.
