This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is equipped with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump uses a dry shaft design, which prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components supports operating temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional hardware includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with a rear pullout design that allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM frame with feet. It is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and uses an across-the-line starting option. The motor is NEMA standard, set for CCW rotation, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to maintain premium efficiency standards, meeting MG1-12.55. The unit is rated for 40 °C ambient operation and has a DOE PEI of 0.87.
