This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 256 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across the line starting configuration. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a guard. This pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.92.
