This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design incorporates a dry shaft architecture, which utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from circulating fluids. It maintains a 125 PSI pressure rating without the use of a wear ring. The sealing system comprises a ceramic seat and EPT rubber to form the mechanical seal assembly. Center-line discharge facilitates positive air venting, and the unit includes integrally cast mounting feet for structural support.
Power is provided by a 200 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, equipped with Aegis grounding and rated for 380-460V / 3PH. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
