This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump is configured with a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. It features a cast iron casing, a stainless steel impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit uses a mechanical seal with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F in clean water applications. This model is constructed with ANSI Class 125 flanges and includes greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 184 T frame, rated for 200V/60Hz/3PH power. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods-style coupler. This equipment is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment and has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
