This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. Pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and utilizes a 286T NEMA motor frame. It is built for premium efficiency, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and is rated for 40°C ambient operation. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler covered by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.93.
