This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, an 8" suction connection, and a 6" discharge connection. It utilizes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter to protect the seal, and the pump includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is configured with a 25 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a 284JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230/460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA standards and features premium efficiency, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a PEI value of 0.93.
