This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. This unit features premium efficiency motor construction compliant with NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump meets a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
