This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft covered by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and is configured without a wear ring.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 frame. It is configured for 230/460/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting capabilities and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The drive assembly uses a Woods coupler, a standard coupler guard, and a J-size power frame. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan for 40°C ambient conditions. This assembly is EISA compliant with a PEI of 0.9 and an HI Energy Rating of 10.
