This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. Its design includes a rear pullout configuration, a dry shaft, and a top centerline discharge for piping efficiency. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. Flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter, and the casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a drip cover. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and utilizes a 182 JM frame style with mounting feet. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
