This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing is equipped with a bronze wear ring, pressure tappings, and flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured with a JM frame with feet and supports 230-460/60/3PH power. It meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. The starting option is across the line, and the unit maintains a PEI of 0.87. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge facilitates self-venting.
