This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump construction incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft, as well as flush seal line taps and pressure tappings for suction and discharge monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 10 HP WEG TEFC motor. The motor is built to a NEMA 215 T frame and meets MG1-12.55 Super E premium efficiency standards. The power requirement is 380V, 3PH, 60Hz. The unit is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the motor to the pump. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
