This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a cast iron casing and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes an integrally cast mounting foot.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a 284TS NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with across-the-line starting and premium efficiency that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly includes a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods flexible coupler connects the motor to the pump, which features greasable bearings. The pump assembly carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.89 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection.
