This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 10" nominal diameter. The assembly is equipped with a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft featuring a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The internal design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 213 T-frame. The pump is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler and mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard coupler guard. The power supply is 230-460/60/3 PH with an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor is premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.94 and is configured for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
