This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the pump shaft and the circulating fluid. Flush seal line taps are provided to allow for filter installation.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply and utilizes a 256JM motor frame style with feet. The motor meets NEMA standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly features an across-the-line starting option and complies with DOE efficiency standards with a PEI value of 0.89. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, and the top centerline discharge simplifies the installation layout.
