This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is equipped with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections featuring ANSI Class 125 flanges with a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with the circulating fluid, flush seal line taps for optional filtration, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets MG1-12.55 standards. The motor features a TEFC enclosure, a 213 JM frame with feet, and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. It is rated for 40°C ambient temperature. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
