This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and is rated for water temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for both suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP Baldor motor with a 405 NEMA T frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure and operates on a 460/60/3 power supply. It is configured with an AEGIS SGR and an insulated bearing on the NDE. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard guard. This pump meets NEMA standards for 40°C ambient operation and has a PEI of 0.93. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards.
