This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and includes a slip-on shaft sleeve for seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The assembly includes ANSI Class 250 flanges without a wear ring. The design provides flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 20 HP, 3450 RPM TEFC motor by Baldor. It operates on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor uses a 256 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.9. The motor is configured for across the line starting and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
