This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Additional design features include flush seal line taps for filtration, suction and discharge pressure tappings, a rear pullout assembly, and a top center line discharge.
The pump is driven by a 50 HP, 3450 RPM WEG motor in a 326 JM frame with feet. The motor is a TEFC enclosure configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. It operates at a 40°C ambient temperature under NEMA standards with counter-clockwise rotation. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding for electrical protection. The equipment has a PEI value of 0.89 and meets the MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standard.
