This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly consists of a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. This model includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design enables servicing of the internal components without disturbing the connected system piping.
The unit is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, featuring AEGIS shaft grounding and NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. It is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power and operates at 1150 RPM with across-the-line starting. The pump uses a 256 JM motor frame style with feet for mounting. The top centerline discharge design is used to simplify piping layouts and facilitate self-venting of the pump casing.
