This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a NEMA 182T motor frame, and an across-the-line starting option. Electrical specifications are 200V, 60Hz, 3PH, with a 40°C ambient temperature rating. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard.
