This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The construction utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve, employing a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the pump includes flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across-the-line starting. The motor is housed in a 182 T frame and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards. This assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a standard Woods coupler and a coupler guard. The motor is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit has a PEI of 0.91 and is rated for operation in a 40 °C ambient environment.
