This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a rear pullout design, top center line discharge, and flush seal line taps to facilitate maintenance.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. It is configured with a 286 JM motor frame style with feet and operates on 230-460/60/3 power. The motor meets NEMA standards and premium efficiency specifications per MG1-12.55, and the unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding. It uses across the line starting with a 40°C ambient rating and counter-clockwise rotation. This equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.97.
