This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump assembly includes a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which supports operating temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is mounted in a 324 TS frame and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding, a 40°C ambient rating, and CCW rotation. The pump assembly is secured to a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
