This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The unit includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. It incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.92 and is rated for operation in a 40°C ambient environment.
