This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and a 3" discharge utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts and supports self-venting.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor featuring a drip cover and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The assembly uses a 254JM frame motor with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards under MG1-12.55. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient operation with counter-clockwise rotation. This model achieves a pump energy index (PEI) value of 0.91.
