This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It uses a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pull-out design allows for servicing without removing system piping, while the top centerline discharge simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain.
This pump is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a drip cover. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor uses a 284JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.9.
