This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. It is rated for a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts. Flush seal line taps are included.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor. The motor features a TEFC enclosure, a drip cover, and is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power. It utilizes a JM frame style with feet, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 40°C ambient rating. This unit meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI of 0.89. It uses an across-the-line starting option and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
