This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections rated for ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and a centerline discharge for air venting.
This unit operates at 1450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor Super E Premium Efficiency TEFC motor in NEMA frame 254. The electrical configuration supports 380-415/50/3 power with Y Delta high voltage starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 efficiency standards and operates in a 50°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, protected by a standard coupler guard.
