This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge connection. It includes a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber operates at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a rear pullout design for maintenance access, and flush seal line taps. The top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and piping alignment.
The pump is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates at 3450 RPM and is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor utilizes a 213 JM frame style with feet. This assembly maintains a PEI value of 0.87 and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The electrical configuration includes an across-the-line starting option.
