This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal utilizes a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are included on both suction and discharge connections, along with flush seal line taps to support external flushing.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor motor in a 184 T NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration requires 200V, 60Hz, 3PH, with across the line starting and CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. This equipment has a PEI value of 0.86 and is configured for 40°C ambient conditions.
