This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The construction includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and features a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists with self-venting and reduces piping strain.
The unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. The motor is a 256 JM frame style with feet and features a TEFC enclosure for 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. It is configured for across the line starting and maintains an ambient temperature rating of 40 °C. The motor assembly is mounted to the pump as a close coupled unit.
