This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter, a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit is equipped with a mechanical seal utilizing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance. Additional features include flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, a top center line discharge configuration, and a rear pullout design for servicing.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standards, operates at 40°C ambient, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding and premium efficiency ratings per MG1-12.55. The assembly uses a 256 JM motor frame style with feet. The unit operates with counter-clockwise rotation and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.97.
