This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge connections equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design to facilitate servicing without disturbing system piping and a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts. The construction utilizes a dry shaft design and a slip-on shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and utilizes a JM motor frame style with feet. The motor complies with NEMA standards and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a PEI value of 0.96. The pump uses an across the line starting configuration.
