This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance and isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Additional features include flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design.
The pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a JM frame with feet. It operates at 1150 RPM and requires 230-460/60/3 PH power. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting method is across the line, and the assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
