This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55. The unit includes an across-the-line starting option, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 40°C ambient rating. It is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This configuration maintains a PEI of 0.85.
