This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 5" suction and 4" discharge connections. The pump uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and is equipped with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. Permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings are housed within the bearing frame to support operation.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 286 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a DOE PEI of 0.92.
