This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal design utilizes a dry shaft configuration and a mechanical seal composed of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation in clean water up to 300°F. The unit is equipped with flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate maintenance and monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 254T frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. It includes premium efficiency motor components with AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model maintains a PEI value of 0.92 and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation.
